Typeji is a New York–based independent type foundry and design practice led by TienMin Liao. It started on FutureFonts in 2020 and became a fully established foundry in 2024 after four years of development. Typeji is dedicated to creating and publishing versatile typefaces. Drawing inspiration from classic type specimens and experimental forms, its library spans clean geometric grotesques, editorial serifs, and expressive display fonts. In addition to retail releases, Typeji collaborates with agencies on custom type projects, including typeface design, logotype development, and wordmark refinement.
